A five minute walk around the veggie beds at school fills a small bag with the figs, okra, peppers, and tomatoes above. Help yourself before school starts!

Summer Veggies!
The sweetest cherry tomatoes and those tasty peppers often found in sandwiches and salad bars (pepperoncini) are bursting out of our vegetable bed.
Tomatoes will ripen throughout summer, so only pick the orangest ones. Some have a split along one side, but you can still eat them. If you're worried about bugs, slice 'em in half. If you don't see anything suspicious, enjoy!

Tomatoes, Okra, and Thai Peppers, Oh My!
The sungold tomato plants are taking over, and the beautiful purple okra needs to be picked before they get too big and woody. For those of you who like it spicy, in a few weeks the peppers will be red and ready to set your mouth on fire!
