Cottonmouths live in Southem United States, Virginia, and Florida.  They also live near water and fields.  Cottonmouths also live in swamps, slow moving streams, marshes, and drained ditches.  They live in lakes and ponds.

Cottonmouths eat lots of different things for their diet.  The cottonmouth bites its prey and runs away in the wild.  In the zoo the cottonmouth eats  mouse, rats, and chicks.  they also eats warm  and cold blooded prey like some kinds of snake, frogs, and fish.

        Cottonmouth can be as tall as 30 to 48 inches.  Their length is 76 to 122 cm.  They have a black back with dark ovals.  Their bellies is pale they have  vinmes onder their jaws.        

      

        There number one preter is humans.  Sometimes the humans think kinds of snake are cottonmouth and sometimes kills the snake.

Michael sports shades that make 3D insects pop off the page.  With one quarter of the school year behind us, we shift into geometry, social studies, context clues, and informational writing.

Week 1 Wrap-Up

Welcome 3rd graders!  After a week and a half, we're slowly settling into a daily routine. Henry and Michael smile for the camera, while writing the homework assignment in their agendas.

After waking up our bodies and minds through movement and deep breathing, the day begins with a handshake and greeting during morning meeting.

Lena wows us with guitar chords on her share day.  The class roots her on while attempting a difficult b minor.

Asiyah finds a comfortable spot to read. The goal is to read comfortably in one spot for 20 minutes, so each day we build stamina minute by minute.

Sasha and Emma share the colorful rug, and Penny finds a good nook.

Jaden and Seonni prefer cool tiles in the back of the room.
