Cold Blooded Visitors!

Fridays usually deliver the unexpected, and last week was no exception.

Jack's dad works for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and he stopped by the classroom during science toting a gopher tortoise and a corn snake.

Milo and his classmates explored living texture, while Mr. Elliott described the longleaf pine ecosystem.

Later in the year we will explore habitats of Georgia, and animal/plant adaptations. Friday's impromptu preview was an exciting end to a long week. Click here to learn more.
