Week 9 Wrap-Up

If there's one part of the week we really enjoy, it's the differentiated activities that follow the spelling test on Friday.  Now in addition to sculpt, describe, draw, or act, the students can sing the meaning of a word.  Thomas' illustration (above) of the word "enjoy" made everyone smile.

This week we finish-up narrative writing, and in reading, we shift to nonfiction.  Specifically, we'll explore features of nonfiction such as illustrations, diagrams, charts, etc.  In math, multiplication takes the form of arrays, and in social studies, we continue learning about Paul Revere.

Please look for parent-teacher conference forms in Monday folders, and return them promptly.  The book fair opens next Monday!

  1. I think that that picture of Evylyns is a really really cool and creative drawing. Espesially on a smart board.
