Now four weeks in, daily routines are solidifying and we're ready for a great year. Next Friday is the first FACT (families and children together) day of the year. Parents are encouraged to join us throughout the school day.
September begins the annual Food 2 Kids program. According to their Facebook page, "Athens Food 2 Kids program provides free sacks of food to Clarke, Oconee and Barrow County school children who are at risk of going hungry over the weekend." In September, we're collecting cans of peanut butter. For more information, click here.
Tuesday is a teacher work day, so have a wonderfully l o n g weekend!
